My voice is a dried up waterfall

Under the direction of the artist Camille Llobet and in support of PiLAB – Workshop for Research and Creation- projects on different forms of language and expression were elaborated in the workshop “entre deux langues”. Throughout weeks we elaborated works on languages and intersections of expression. I contributed with my performance “sedam abschare khoshk hast” ( ), “my voice is a dry waterfall”. During several minutes I rephrase this sentence and stretch the vowels to approach the blurred boundaries between speaking and singing. With my work I wanted to process the prohibition of the singing female voice by getting closer to the blind spot.
